Will Brandon Albert be available with the 23rd pick in the NFL draft?

The Steelers need this guy bad.

I don't really see any team that has pressing needs for a Guard before the Steelers. But, some team my take him because he is the best player availble. Guards dont typically get drafted very high becuase I guess its easier to find a big truck to plow wholes in the d line than it is to protect the quaterbacks blind side.

There is always that chance.
I think the Cheifs might pick him before the Steelers get a chance
Kiper says no way, but I'll believe it when I see it. He had him in the top 6, I think.
Maybe, he's a bit of a tweener, which scares off some people, there is a small chance that the Chiefs might nab him at #5, and I mean only like 4-5%, a few teams with higher percentages than that after them, I'd say he has about a 50% shot of being there at 23.
I doubt it some "experts" say if Jake Long is longer there at five then B.Albert will be taken by the Chiefs. It seems way to early for me but I saw it yesterday on ESPN. I forget whos mock draft it was.

What does the little green sticker on the NFL quarterbacks helmet mean?

It means that the helmet is set up with communications to the sideline. Only one player is allowed to have communications with the sideline so if theres 2 little green stickers on the field they are cheating.

Its the quarterbacks radio with the offensive coordinater. next year you'll probably see linebackers with the same thing to stop the patriot's whole spygate thing

It means HamThugger, PorkThugger, firelesmiles, and LSUballs are in the neighborhood, so keep your children under 13 years old under lock and key.
it means that player is the only player designated to receive radio signals. usually the quarterback. same thing would apply to defensive players. i believe only one player at a time can receive signals weather or not it's offense or defense
It means there's a speaker in the helmet, so the player can receive plays from the sideline.

its a recall sticker since the helmets have too much lead in them and were made in china...

Should the nfl go to a 7 game playoff system?

Give me your answer, yes or no and give me supporting details as to why you picked that answer, most major sports have a multiple game playoff series, which is good for teams that are consistent, rather than lucky.

+10 for the best answer.

Should the nfl go to a 7 game playoff system?www.nba

yes because then more teams get a chance to win the super bowl...

What you've just asked is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent question were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this board is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
No way a 7 game series.MAYBE like a 3 game series but that is still to much.

Football takes alot of toll to the body.Hockey is a contact sport but your always getting hit in Football. There's a reason why they make a 16 game regular season.
No, I like football playoffs how it is, win or go home. If it went to series then alot of the comebacks we have seen in the past would not happen, coachs would take players out if they are down too far early in the series.
No, that would be way to long. Besides, football just isn't a series sport. All it would do accomplish is the injury of more players.
i wouldnt mind seeing the superbowl maybe best of 3 but the nfl just destroys guys physically. No way theyd make the season 2x as long w/ 7 game series playoffs.
actually, it would actually have to go up to more, most likely 8 or 9, if there are more teams in the Wild card.
Cause unlike Baseball, Hockey, and Basketball, football is full friggin contact!!!!!! Think before you ask a question.
no that is wayyy too much considering that there are only 16 games a season... maybe the best out of 3? hey if they increase it its all right with me; i love watching more games
Heck no Football players get hurt more then Basketball and Baseball.
No one is good maybe they could stretch it to three games but not seven
yeah lets all wait about ****** 28 weeks before the playoffs finish...
Sounds good, but I have to answer no. The game is way too physical. That's why I don't understand how hockey players do it! Maybe it could be 2 out of 3 but that is very taxing on a football player's body. The season already lasts 6 months. If they play multiple playoff games, the teams would have to play more than once a week or extend into March. Is there any kind of requirement for off season duration?

Anyway, I wouldn't call most of the wins "lucky". Football is a tough sport mentally and physically and requires efficient coaching as wells as playing. You can think of each playoff game as a GAME 7 (win or go home mentality). Maybe that would help put these games in perspective. I like where you are going with the question, I just think that 7 games is a little ambitious.

If the Patriots go 15-0 will the final game of the season still only be aired on the NFL Network?

can or will the NFL actually get away with it?

If the Patriots go 15-0 will the final game of the season still only be aired on the NFL Network?nba draft prospects

this game was planned to be shown on the NFL network before the season. Only reason why some games are getting so much attention and hype due to not being broadcast to majority of America is because these are big games.

you will be able to watch the game live/free on nfl.com/live.

Get away with what? Hey, nobody cared ONE BIT back in June when they announced this. Now all of a sudden, they got lucky and got a few good games in this deal, and everyone thinks they're committing a crime by not giving it to everyone. Call your cable company and tell them that you want them to carry the NFL Network. That's the person you have to blame. I mean, let's face it. Most people wouldn't have this game on local air anyway, so what's the big deal. I believe it'll be on the air on local TV in New England and NY, but I'm not 100% sure about that. The NFL is "getting away" with something here. They area separate entity from the NFL and pay a royalty to broadcast these games. Just like the other networks do.
Yes, and they shouldn't change it.

People complain about the NFL Network not being on cable, but REALLY how much does it cost to put one measly channel onto your cable bill?

And you if you can't do that, don't you have AT LEAST one family member or one friend with the NFL network?

Can't you ONE night go to a sports bar?

The NFL can put whatever games they want on their channel, because without the NFL you wouldn't have a channel to complain about.
Of course they will. It's their league, their network, and the game was chosen for broadcast on the Network several months ago.

Nobody back then could have seriously anticipated that the Pats would be unbeaten to this point...
Don't be suprised. It will be the NFL's chance to crank up the pressure on cable companies to carry their network.
Yes, it probably will no matter what the record. Most of this is planned out before the season starts so yes.
Yeah, it will only be on NFL Network, no changing that....
I heard the game would be only shown free on local TV stations in New York and Massachusetts and the rest will have to watch it on the NFL Network channel.

Here is the link from the Patriots website showing that the final game is on NFLNetwork and local Channel 5. I know NY has a local channel as well.

When did the NFL impliment the rule that a player can continue to run if not down by contact?

I'm looking for the year when this rule was put into play.

When did the NFL impliment the rule that a player can continue to run if not down by contact?nba gear

It's always been the rule. Up until about 40 years ago, he actually had to be tackled; if he was knocked down by a contact but not actually tackled, he could get up and continue to run.

Not positive, but I think that was a AFL rule the the NFL implimented when they merged. Some time around 1974?
