If the Patriots go 15-0 will the final game of the season still only be aired on the NFL Network?

can or will the NFL actually get away with it?

this game was planned to be shown on the NFL network before the season. Only reason why some games are getting so much attention and hype due to not being broadcast to majority of America is because these are big games.

you will be able to watch the game live/free on nfl.com/live.

Get away with what? Hey, nobody cared ONE BIT back in June when they announced this. Now all of a sudden, they got lucky and got a few good games in this deal, and everyone thinks they're committing a crime by not giving it to everyone. Call your cable company and tell them that you want them to carry the NFL Network. That's the person you have to blame. I mean, let's face it. Most people wouldn't have this game on local air anyway, so what's the big deal. I believe it'll be on the air on local TV in New England and NY, but I'm not 100% sure about that. The NFL is "getting away" with something here. They area separate entity from the NFL and pay a royalty to broadcast these games. Just like the other networks do.
Yes, and they shouldn't change it.

People complain about the NFL Network not being on cable, but REALLY how much does it cost to put one measly channel onto your cable bill?

And you if you can't do that, don't you have AT LEAST one family member or one friend with the NFL network?

Can't you ONE night go to a sports bar?

The NFL can put whatever games they want on their channel, because without the NFL you wouldn't have a channel to complain about.
Of course they will. It's their league, their network, and the game was chosen for broadcast on the Network several months ago.

Nobody back then could have seriously anticipated that the Pats would be unbeaten to this point...
Don't be suprised. It will be the NFL's chance to crank up the pressure on cable companies to carry their network.
Yes, it probably will no matter what the record. Most of this is planned out before the season starts so yes.
Yeah, it will only be on NFL Network, no changing that....
I heard the game would be only shown free on local TV stations in New York and Massachusetts and the rest will have to watch it on the NFL Network channel.

Here is the link from the Patriots website showing that the final game is on NFLNetwork and local Channel 5. I know NY has a local channel as well.
